I bought this used in 2008 for $500, because I didn't have a truck to tow my boat. It was one of the best decisions I made. I have a truck now and I never use my boat, it's still in Delaware. It has been through hell and back, I put a hole in it dragging it over anything and everything. It fell out of truck once, while going to the pond a mile from my house, I didn't strap it down. I've fished rivers, lakes, bays, and the ocean, it's a great all around yak. I have a basic set up. Two flush mount rod holders behind the seat, anchor trolley, a scotty rod holder which I some times use a scotty bar with, and an Eagle Cuda 300 depthfinder.
Ben, my first SOT was a heritage Redfish 14, Now I have a Redfish 12 and a 14 besides my Slayer. They are great yak's. I noticed you have the Native seat in it, is that a seat upgrade or did it come with the yak? The versabard wedge seat is an awesome upgrade and bolts right in.

Fishing is not simply my escape; it is where I am supposed to be, it is not a place that I go, but a lifelong journey I am taking.
