Technically, my boat is not yet rigged. It is ALMOST rigged. But, while I have had little time to rig my boat due to work, I have had time to figure out some decorations for my Slayer. Since I am of Scots-Irish descent on one side, and 100% Irish on the other, I went for a Celtic theme. I learned to draw Celtic knots and Trisquells, and drew up a few things and sent them off to Callie Graphics.
This boat is for fishing, so an Otter was an obvious choice. Found out how to spell the Irish (Gaelic) word for otter. Translated, it means "WaterHound", which is how they called the beast.
The gold Celtic Knot is fish entrails, and the 3 cornered Trisquelle I drew because I liked the way it looked.
On the front, I made a creature from a Celtic Knot which I think looks like a Slayer should look. Callie did her usual great job at a very low price. I hope the pictures attach!
By the end of the month, I hope to have the boat fully set up and ready to go.
